Average Phila. Jury Verdict Fell 31 Percent in 2011

The average civil jury verdict in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court last year decreased roughly 31 percent, from $ 1.49 million in 2010 to $ 1.02 million in 2011, according to the First Judicial District's civil trial division statistics.
