Appeals: Judge Holds Lawyer-Witness in Contempt for Comment to Juror

A Philadelphia judge said when a witness - who is a lawyer - spoke to a juror in the middle of a trial while advocates in the case were engaged in a sidebar conference, he was in contempt of court.
